H1 - 60 mL bottle from State Lab of Hygiene, UNFILTERED ( ortho-phosphate, dissolved silica)
 
H2 - 250 mL bottle from State Lab of Hygiene, Must be acidified with H2SO4 and markedUNFILTERED (total phosphorus, total nitrogen, ammonia, nitrate)
 
S - 125 mL bottle from LTER, Must be acidified with 1 mL of Optima HCl (purge re-pipetter a few times after air-free and remember 3 acid blanks), 2 bottles from each depth, FILTERED and UNFILTERED (total phosphorus, total nitrogen, dissolved silica, also cations in quarterly sample)
 
N - 20 mL scintillation vial from LTER, Must be frozen immediately, FILTERED (ammonia)
 
P1 - 20 mL scintillation vial, UNFILTERED (air-excluded pH)
 
P2 - 125 mL bottle, UNFILTERED (air-equilibrated pH)
 
DIC/DOC - 24 mL glass vial from LTER, 2 bottles from each depth, FILTERED and UNFILTERED (dissolved organic and inorganic carbon)
 
V - 20 mL scintillation vial (anions, taken for quarterly sample only), FILTERED
 
A - 20 mL scintillation vial (alkalinity, taken for quarterly sample only), UNFILTERED
 
Phytoplankton - 250 mL SLOH bottle, Preserve with 3 pipette volumes of glutaraldehyde
 
Zooplankton - 110 mL glass jar, fill to neck with 95% ethanol
