What is Z3?
Z3 is a generic counting/measuring application built on Zoopomatic2. Z3 is like Zoopomatic2 for more than just Zooplankton. Users can design their own schema for their workspaces, allowing them to specify:
- What is being counted (i.e. Species)
- How to group data (i.e. Samples & Subsamples)
- How to label counts/measurements (i.e. Length, Egg Count)
Key Features of Z3
- User-defined schema meaning Z3 can be used in a variety of applications.
- Overlay Mode will allow users to take measurements with cameras that don't support live video feeds except in their driver window, like the Panasonic cameras.
- This behavior will resemble the first version of Zoopomatic ("old school Zoop")
- Customizable export formats will allow users to define how they want their data exported.
